Supervising Legal Writing
Tuesday, March 17, 2026 1:00pm – 2:30pm PST
Presenter:
Fawn Rajbhandari-Korr, Training Director and Senior Counsel, The Impact Fund
Join us for strategies to encourage high-quality legal writing in your organization and create a positive feedback culture. Effective legal writing centers the reader (whether a client, the court, opposing counsel, or others) to ensure that they receive information in an efficient and persuasive way. Great legal writing takes time, repetition, and honest and constructive editors. That is where supervisors and writing mentors come in. We will discuss tips for achieving reader-centered writing, working with others to help improve their writing, and normalizing constructive feedback on legal writing. Come and gather inspiration for helping your teams along their writing journeys. Qualifies for one and a half hours of California MCLE general credit.
Please keep your cameras on. We encourage you to be comfortable during the training so bring your snacks and pets. We just want to see friendly faces!
