Arev Walker’s Bio

Arev Walker - Grants & Operations Assistant

Arev is a recent graduate from the University of Washington where she studied Law, Societies, and Justice and Public Policy. During college, she worked with Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates and the Seattle Clemency Project, advocating for reproductive rights and working with an attorney to develop a clemency petition for an incarcerated individual. After graduating, Arev lived in Armenia where she volunteered as a legal assistant and nonprofit development assistant.  

Arev grew up in Berkeley and credits her hometown with developing her interest in social justice from a young age. Arev's academic and professional interests include criminal justice reform, community-based political advocacy, and equitable access to legal and social services. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and being outdoors.
