Mauricio Gonzalez Sanchez - Summer Law Clerk
Mauricio is a third-year student at Yale Law School. His areas of interest include access to justice, immigration law, discrimination and civil rights. At Yale he participates in the Worker & Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic, serves as an Articles Editor for the Yale Law & Policy Review, served as the Political Action Chair for La Sociedad of Latine Law Students, and conducts research on legal remedies, punishment, and constitutional limits to immigration regulation.
Mauricio has previously interned in the Special Litigation Department of the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General and at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in his hometown of El Paso, TX. Prior to law school, he graduated from Yale College with a degree in English and spent a fellowship year studying Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan.
