As part of our mission, the Impact Fund provides training for public interest law to practitioners on a wide range of issues relating to public interest litigation. Our training programs cover beginning and advanced litigation and class action topics, including class action procedure, brief writing, expert witnesses, attorneys’ fees, ethics, and new developments. We provide training in a variety of formats, including in-person presentations, brown bag lunches, webinars, and our three-day intensive Class Action Training Institute. As a support center for the State Bar legal services programs, we are also available to provide training on these and other topics onsite for individual programs upon request.
In 2015 our annual 3-day intensive Training Institute for practitioners new to the field of class actions will have an encore in Chicago!
Sep 9-11 – Oakland, CA Sep 30 & Oct 1-2 – Chicago, IL
If you have any questions about our training programs, please contact our Director of Litigation & Training, Robert Schug.
