"The Impact Fund Goes Shopping"

The Impact Fund partners with other civil rights and legal services organizations in the fight for social justice. The Equal Justice Litigation Program is one of our tools in this struggle. Through the program, the Impact Fund:

  • Acts as co-counsel in public interest, class action cases;
  • Provides advice and counseling for issues that arise in large-scale, public interest litigation, including procedure, trial, settlement, and attorney’s fees;
  • Conducts training programs for practitioners and students on various aspects of class action and impact litigation;
  • Maintains an active amicus curiae docket and frequently publishes articles on a broad range of issues affecting civil and human rights.
