as well as educators integrating clinical methodology in traditional

The American Civil
Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California - Has the latest
updates and in-depth resources on civil liberties in Northern California.
The Brennan
Center - A non-profit institute involved in litigation, public
education, and scholarship on campaign finance reform, poverty issues,
and judicial independence.
California Employment
Lawyers Association (CELA) - a voluntary membership organization
for California attorneys who regularly represent employees in labor,
employment and civil rights disputes.
Chavez & Gertler, LLP - The firm's attorneys represent plaintiffs in
class action and private attorney general cases.
Clinical Legal
Education Association (CLEA) - a non-profit organization whose
membership is open to all people interested in using clinical methodology
to prepare law students and lawyers for more effective law practice.
Equal Rights
Advocates (ERA) - Equal Rights Advocates has led the legal fight
for women's equality for almost 30 years. Their mission is to protect
and secure equal rights and economic opportunities for women and
girls through litigation and advocacy.

Legal Resources - This interactive site is designed to help
find solutions to legal issues by providing easy and comprehensive
access to lawyers and legal information.
Goldstein,
Demchak, Baller, Borgen & Dardarian - is a California law firm
which represents plaintiffs in complex and class action litigation,
including civil rights, employment discrimination, wage and labor,
disability access, environmental, consumer and other public interest
class actions. Goldstein Demchak was founded in 1972, and has litigated
class action lawsuits throughout the United States, as well as in
California.
The Legal Aid Foundation
of Los Angeles (LAFLA) - A non-profit law firm providing free
legal services, advocacy, and representation to low-income people
in Los Angeles.

cases typically involve dangerous or defective products, securities
and investment fraud, consumer fraud and false advertising, employment

Equal Justice Works
- (formerly The National Association for Public Interest Law) leads

Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) - The country's only professional
organization that is exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent
individual employees in cases involving employment discrimination,
wrongful termination, employee benefits, and other employment-related
matters.

Guild - An organization of more than 5, 000 lawyers, legal workers,
law students and jail house lawyers in 200 chapters around the country.

National Legal Aid & Defender Association - serves the equal justice community
in two major ways: providing first-rate products and services and
as a leading national voice in public policy and legislative debates
on the many issues affecting the equal justice community.
Probono.net -
Probono.net's mission is to increase access to justice through innovative
uses of technology and increased volunteer participation.
Poverty & Race Research
Action Council - Fosters collaboration between activist and
research communities dealing with racism and poverty. We also support
social science research on the intersections of race and poverty,
designed in turn, to advance a planned advocacy agenda (public education,
community organizing, litigation, legislation, etc.)
Public Interest Clearinghouse
(PIC) - provides technical assistance, coordination and advocacy
in order to leverage scarce resources and build the capacity of
over 100 nonprofit and legal aid programs in California. Also see
